The update schedule settings configured by MDM are now visible in the Settings of the Catalog App
By default, the update schedule will no longer run when connected to a Personal Hotspot or another network connection considered expensive. To overrule this setting and allow the update schedule to run on all networks, set the key AllowUpdatesContrainedNetworks
to true

We updated the Managed Login Item documentation as it was not clear enough how to auto-approve background items and could have prevented to enable the autonomous update schedule for macOS 13 and later. This is now improved and simplified:
An issue is resolved that caused the Catalog Agent to hang when no user was logged in
Apps excluded from updates (check appcatalog.cloud) will no longer be shown in the Catalog App as an update. For example Microsoft apps as Microsoft AutoUpdate should be used and organizations may have different update settings applied, such as delayed updates.
